Private Client Solicitor

Job Description

Walker & Sharpe is a well-established law firm located in the heart of Dumfries, with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal services. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a talented and motivated SOLICITOR to join our team.

The successful candidate will focus primarily on private client work, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, trusts and executry administration. There is also the opportunity to engage in residential and commercial conveyancing.

The position is offered on a full-time basis, however, part-time work may be considered for the right applicant.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• has relevant experience and excellent technical legal knowledge
• is capable of managing their own caseload efficiently
• demonstrates excellent client care and communication skills
• is STEP qualified or willing to work towards qualification
